Shree Vishuddhananda Saraswati Vidyalaya was established in 1901 in the fond memory of great saint, Shree Vishuddhananda 'Saraswati'. The foundation stone was laid by Shri Ashutosh Mukherjee in the year 1912 and it was inaugurated on 8th June 1914 by the then Governor Lord Carmichael.The School got recognition for higher secondary education in the year 1976. At present the school is providing education in both English and Hindi Medium respectively. The school has produced eminent scholars, business tycoons, social workers, lawyers, statesman, etc. Mr Bimal Jalan (Ex Governor of Reserve Bank of India) and Mr G. D. Birla have been the studenst of this school.
